Of course you can "win" by finishing 1st, but finishing 1st is not something you're necessarily aiming at most of the time.įor me, I separate the game in two "parts" in my mind: Against AI and against other players. Other games reward you for winning, or make it clear that winning is the main goal in the game, but that's not the case in Dirt Rally. I mostly had to understand, that the usual concept of "winning" doesn't work in Dirt Rally as it does in 99,9 % of other games. ![]() I'll try to point out what makes the game for me personally, and why I play it almost every day and what mindset I had to "learn" to enjoy the game apart from learning how to not crash in every corner: I agree to what others have said here, that there's a steep learning curve before you'll get the hang of it. ![]()
